So I've heard that OpenSolaris will boot on a MacBook Pro, and I find
myself wanting a workstation, and I also find myself preferring Solaris
to Linux (Mac OS X isn't really an option, I'd prefer a 'usual' BSD to
Solaris except that dtrace would be a great boon - the kind of work ...

I am trying to print out weekly iCal calendars, but I would like them
in portrait layout rather than landscape, is this possible? I would
also like the font for the time to be larger than it is at present, but
can find no way to change these things. Am I on a hiding to nothing

When I go to shutdown my son's computer at the end of the day, I often get a
dialog box asking for administrator's password because his sister's account
is still active. I type my username and password, hit return, the dialog box
disappears and I wander off.

Just looking at the cheapo DTT tuners for the mac seeming as they aren't
much more than a cheapo freeview box from Tesco's.

I'm thinking of buying an Elgato EyeTV for use on UK Freeview, for my
PB G4 17" 1.33GHz, OS X 10.4.8.
