Is there any way to completely turn off the timed recordings feature in
Audio Hijack? Or do I have to check/uncheck every single 'on' checkbox
for each timed recording individually each time I want to stop/start all
automated recordings?

Quick one -
Can the mail server in OS X server be told to query a POP3 mail account,
and bring new mail down to the local IMAP account?
Eg, can I shove my GMail username and password in, and have the server

Would this give a problem or are G4 DP 1.25 MDDs fine with drives of this
capacity?

Okay, my newish 4G5 is dying (frequent - and I mean *frequent* - kernel
panics).
I've made a Carbon Copy Cloner copy of its boot volume onto an external
HDD[1].  What I'd like to do now is make a disc image copy of this disc

Just installed OS X (10.4.8) on my old G4. It has three 100gb internal
drives, 2 of which are connected via an internal Sonnet Tempo ATA 100
scsi card.

GX620 that I only use for converting publisher, word and excel docs to
pdfs which I transfer to my G5 and work on in Illustrator.

etc. Does anyone know what the max capacity drive the MacBook takes and what type the drive is? Is it just a
standard SATA laptop drive?
