example.com29 Nov 2006 09:26 GMT3
I was looking at my webstats, and I see someone has linked to my site
from example.com - this can't be possible, can it? I thought
example.com was just an example from IANA, not actual website there?

Which podcatching client?29 Nov 2006 07:20 GMT3
Up until now I've been happy using iPodderX, but I'm getting
increasingly unhappy with it. Not sure why, just am.
So, apart from iTunes (meh) what are people using for podcatching?

Old eMac suggestions29 Nov 2006 05:38 GMT9
I've got an old eMac 700mhz that still performs brilliantly and gets used
everyday.  The problem I have is that it's got about 6 gigs of photos one
that aren't backed up.  My wife's said that she will cut off delicate bits
of my anatomy if they get lost.

I just received a brand new MBP DC2 and discovered a problem with
wireless connection. After installing the OS I was able to connect to
my wireless Linksys router using the default DHCP setup but I've
noticed that the download rates are very low i.e. 4Kb/sec, I have 10 MB

And then to single out faggots and beat them with bats.

Software for very young children?28 Nov 2006 12:45 GMT2
I'm fairly sure someone here once pointed out some software designed for
very young children - it responded to keypresses with patterns and
colours and so on, allowing them to imitate their computer-using parents
and have obvious/fun stuff happen on screen.
Display and power settings - help28 Nov 2006 11:47 GMT8
Bought a Mac book today and first time I have had one.  Can anyone tell me
how I can adjust the settings so that I can close the lid without the mac
switching off as I want to use with a larger external monitor.

Bookmark management28 Nov 2006 10:49 GMT31
I keep thinking there's some command I haven't found, every time I make
a bookmark in Safari.
To me, the obvious thing would be hit a key command Add Bookmark, which
would display a dialogue with four fields:
