That's it, really: got a 600MHz G3 iBook with MacOS X 10.3.9 installed on it. It won't start up. It'll go `bong', and the battery shows life, but there's not a flicker from the `power' light, and nothing on the screen.

So, my eMac that I have loaned to my mates PC shop / iCafe last week is being duly turned on every morning and turned off at night, so far, unused (he did mention he had been asked if they had a Mac in the past but not since having one. Isn't that always the way).

I mean the soft RAID build into 10.3, not a proprietary solution. So the point of RAID0 is that you have redundancy. If one drive dies,the other has all the data on. But how does it work in practice?
