I'm thinking of getting either an MDA Pro (also known as a JasJar) or a MDA
Vario (KJam, I think), and am going to replace both my iPaq and my N-Gage with
it.

Just taken delivery of a new iPod shuffle - and it is /a lot/ smaller

Had an e mail today from a friend in Oz who has just returned from
Taiwan where he saw a report of "the iPod" movie which Apple are
[apparently] developing for release around September 2007...
He says :-

A few days ago I posted a plea for advice concerning my new iMac which
was having sleeping problems and KP's. Amongst the advice I received
was the suggestion to unplug my USB hub. I (secretly:-) discounted that
idea since there was nothing plugged into the hub, but I did it anyway

How much design flexibility does Aperture give you for web sites?
I like the look of iWeb's photo pages, and the fact that you can use
photo elements to decorate the pages (backgrounds, etc.) [1] - How does
Aperture's web page building stand up in comparison?

After eight years of faithful service, my venerable SC740 is on its last
legs. Apart from the fact that it's so full of ink that it puts black
splodges on the back of the paper, the carriage seems unable to find its
home position. Maybe the toothed belt is buggered or something.
