Phoned Apple tonight - they took me through diagnostics and says it

Core duo macs and windows04 Nov 2006 00:08 GMT7
Is it necessary to use XP Pro via bootcamp, as opposed to XP Home in
order to get the best use out of the processor? I've read that Pro is
needed to support more than one processor, but is this the same case
with the core duo?

Is it possible to have Mac OS X play a sound file during the boot process? Note

Firefox 2 - prombles03 Nov 2006 14:58 GMT15
Is it just me for whom Firefox 2 crashes continually? It seemed fine

monotony.

PPT reader03 Nov 2006 12:28 GMT12
I've just been sent something in .ppt form. I don't have Powerpoint on
this Mac. Before I fire a flea into the ear of the person that sent it,
is there any *free* powerpoint reader in existence for the Mac? If not,
I'll summon up some polite abuse and get them to send the file in a

My flat panel 17" iMac seems to be losing connection to my (home)
