I need a long FireWire 400 cable to connect an MAudio FW410 interface
to a Mac. A 5M cable would do but 6M would be even better. Also need a
USB2 cable the same length. Anyone know where to order these?

This might just be silly, but my drive isn't indexed on Spotlight.  What

I am a bit confused about various versions of iMovie and iDVD that seem

gives you an info window, as expected, but Cmd-Opt-I gives you an

Howdy all,
The HD in my MacBook has just gone non-shiny (well, it's making a
tick-tick-tick sound and the screen stays grey on boot). It's still in
warranty, so a call to Apple should get me a new one -- but what about

I know I should ask on a PC group, but they'd just say "what's Launch
