| iMovie and iDVD - different versions? | 07 Nov 2006 07:42 GMT | 3 |
I am a bit confused about various versions of iMovie and iDVD that seem to exist, can someone confirm the following or correct me? It looks like Apple developed these and supplied them free up to some version (3.0.3?), and that version is what you get when you buy a new

| Tiger - attributes inspector | 07 Nov 2006 07:40 GMT | 2 |
I just discovered (old news to some, I'm sure) that Cmd-I in the Finder gives you an info window, as expected, but Cmd-Opt-I gives you an "attributes inspector" which updates to reflect whatever file you click on. Cool.

| Dead hard drive and AppleCare Q | 07 Nov 2006 06:56 GMT | 9 |
Howdy all, The HD in my MacBook has just gone non-shiny (well, it's making a tick-tick-tick sound and the screen stays grey on boot). It's still in warranty, so a call to Apple should get me a new one -- but what about

I know I should ask on a PC group, but they'd just say "what's Launch Bar?". Maybe someone else who, like me, is required to work with PeeSees happens to know the answer ... ? Thanks!!

| Query for the Aperture users | 06 Nov 2006 18:15 GMT | 28 |

| Aperture Trial | 06 Nov 2006 18:13 GMT | - |
Installed it, tried it, loved it. I did a test run with a commissioned shoot of some Devon Rex cats for friends of ours. It was a great way to cut my teeth on it - having a defined project with similar images and a deadline. Although i am a hobbyist, Aperture is an ideal and ...
