Am I missing something, or is there reallly no way to Reveal in Finder,
or Open Enclosing Folder, from the Spotlight results menu?
And on a related note, now that Recent Items is a text file rather than

A friend has just shifted to adsl using BT. Her daughter has no known
problems - using a Mac Mini and OSX.
Barbara, on the other hand, is struggling slightly with elderly OS9
(prob 9.2) software on an old iMac.

I am in France, have a PowerbookG4 17", airport extreme, PPoE with
Orange-Wanadoo as my provider.
I am using the most recent OSX, but am using firmware 5.5.1 on the
airport extreme not the most recent 5.7. I went back to 5.5.1 because

I've just started using the junk filtering rules in Mail. Two things are
puzzling me.
First, why does Mail think that some messages addressed to me by name,
and only to me, are junk? I know you can tell the program that such

Why is it that when I first start a .nzb download, I get a d/l speed which is
2 or 3 times faster than the speed it settles down to after the first 30
seconds or so?
Starting a 400Mb d/l, it started at about 1100 KB/s - 1300 KB/s, then settled

I've noticed this several times now.
After a few days of use OmniWeb's CPU usage rises to around 30%. If I
restart the app' and it reopens with the same tabs, CPU usage then
settles at around the 5% mark.

No 1 son left his iPod in his jeans which he uses when riding his
mountain bike..
These were left on the bedroom floor as usual, they walked to washer,
jumped in, went on pre wash followed by wash at 40C the iPod fell out
