I am trying to get in to the software folder on my idisk (mac account) and it says library, software folders etc are only available when my idisk is online - please connect to the internet and try again. The thing is I am online and this is happening on two machines I am using.

There was a MIDI keyboard that I might have bought at the Expo, though I was surprised how expensive it was. It was USB powered and very small (only 25 keys or so), and would have worked well as a controller keyboard (as well as having its own sounds).

Got a 12 month old 15" PB 1.67ghz with 80gb HD 512ram Superdrive all the boxes manuals with 2 years left on the Apple support and I need to flog it. What is a reasonable price for this? Cheers

If I unplug my ethernet cable from my iMac and plug it into my iBook, I won't have to do any sort of port/firewall etc fiddling will I with the router? Or could I buy an ethernet 'splitter'?

This isn't a big hassle but it has got me intrigued.... For the past week or so the first time I sign in to MSN it rejects the password. The second time always gets accepted. Now although my typing skills are awful, I can't believe that I make a mistake EVERY

Any tips to speed it up? Switching from mail to news or vice versa or switching newsgroups takes minutes and minutes. It's virtually unusable.

It's got many folders that have a few odd characters as names: '√L, for example. There are loads of different ones, and they're empty (apparently). Anyone else noticed this?
