Entourage Database Daemon...21 Nov 2006 09:05 GMT3
How do you stop this auto running? If you remove it from the Login
Items it gets put back in. If it's running when you sync a folder that
contains the Entourage Database then the copy fails as the target
database is in use by the daemon.
Burning DVD movies20 Nov 2006 23:46 GMT3
Following a recent thread on this.
Dropping a 700mb avi file onto Toast Titanium 7.1 and telling it to
create a dvd movie did just that. It took about four and half hours on a
1.25ghz Powerbook to render and burn the 105 minute movie.

I'm looking to add a wireless NAS drive to my Airport network (serviced

It's taking me longer than I thought searching for this info so hoping

What the hell happened to hard drive capacity?19 Nov 2006 23:51 GMT21
Did I blink and miss something? Just looking at the Apple Store for
potential fileserver solutions, and I'm confronted with 640Gig for
£200, or £120 for 320gig in a Mac Mini-friendly form factor, even a
terabyte if you're prepared to shell out £430.

Budget games for the Mac?19 Nov 2006 23:16 GMT4
Is there any reason why 6-12 month old Mac games don't get re-released
on a budget label for 9.99, as is the case with PC games?
At the Apple store, Doom 3 is still full price.
