| MAC spoofing | 30 Oct 2006 00:00 GMT | 5 |
My router manual has become my bedtime reading. Heavy going. It says "it is advisable to clone the MAC address from a computer on your LAN even if your ISP does not presently require MAC address authentication." I don't get this. Why is it 'advisable'?

| MacSoup and time | 29 Oct 2006 19:34 GMT | 2 |
Looked on usenet today and there were lots of question marks for the age column. I forgot that if you don't quit macsoup (ever), it doesn't cope with the time change very well, even though the mac copes ok.
