Screen spanning questions11 Oct 2006 20:16 GMT1
I've recently added a second screen, identical resolution, to my iG5.
Is there a way to make it so that when full screen applications (e.g. games
such as Age of Mythology or CIV-IV) start, they don't blank the second screen
as well? I'd like to keep email, instant messaging etc ...

Just installed my first 24" iMac. V. fast.
Even nicer than the 20" (tho' BIG!).
iMovie, QuickTime, Motion etc.11 Oct 2006 20:05 GMT2
So I prepare a nice scrolling title sequence in Motion. It looks perfect when
I play it in Motion. I import the Motion file into Final Cut Pro, but it's
all jaggy: anti-aliased, but still jaggy under the anti-aliasing.
So I export it from Motion as a QuickTime file. Now when I ...

iPod accessory adaptor - 3g -> 5g11 Oct 2006 18:10 GMT3
Got a Belkin Tunestage which sends bluetooth audio from a dongle that
plugs in the remote socket on the top of my 3G ipod to my stereo.
However, my ipod's a bit elderly.  I'd like a new one, but that'd mean
binning the tunestage as later ipods only have the dock connector.

Sorting iPhoto pictures by month11 Oct 2006 14:10 GMT6
I want to have a go at an iPhoto calendar, is there any way to get iPhoto to
show me all my pictures taken in January (of any year), and again for
February etc.?
Smart albums don't seem to do it unless I create one per year.
New Logitec Bluetooth keyboard11 Oct 2006 13:39 GMT-
Wouldn't mind a Mac version of this - the integral mouse means it would
be handy for the set-top box Mini.
By Mac version I mean white with Apple keys instead of Windows ones,
and a driver to make the media shortcuts work with iTunes. Not sure how

ibook for internet use in living room?11 Oct 2006 10:30 GMT11
I'm thinking of buying my girlfriend a used ibook that she'll mainly
use for wireless internet access in the living room. It should have
airport to pick up the internet from my router and be fast enough to
run firefox and basic software like MS Office at a pleasant speed and
ISO: Simple XML/KML editor?11 Oct 2006 07:39 GMT5
Can anyone recommend a simple, ideally GUI, XML editor for OSX - something
that will ensure that all the tags are paired correctly, take care of the
indentation for me and maybe some some pretty colour-coding of depths.
To pre-empt the start of another editor war, I'm definitely NOT ...
