I see the Canon printers don't come with a USB cable included, but I have plenty of USB 1.1 A-B cables. Obviously the A side is compatible, but is the B end of a USB 1.1 the same as a USB 2.0?

I have a problem with the speed of web browsing. I have one of the new Intel iMacs - 2GHz Intel Core Duo and I have an ADSL wireless network at home, running at about 7-8Mbps. Max OS 10.4.8 installed, with all the latest software updates, etc. 1Gb Ram. 250Gb hard drive.

My macbook (approx 2 months old) has a problem with faint lines on the screen. I bought it from the Apple Store in Regent Street while I was in London but don't actually live near an Apple Store. Can anyone advise of the proceedure of getting it repaired?

After getting Aperture, I found I was again using VM at an alarming rate (like 6 swap files at peak usage), and an amazing Page Out count, even before running Elements, and with 2.5GB of RAM too. I've just bunged another 2GB in, and it is now back to using no swap
