Memento is what might loosely be described as a Desk Accessory
application - a small, pop-up notepad with stickies, and which has been
insanely useful to me for over a year.
Apropos of the last restart I did (Monday) it's crashing on start.

I've only this week discovered that if someone includes a URL in a
usenet post, I don't have to Copy it and Paste it into Safari - I can
use 'Services: Open URL to save seconds.
That's the first use I've ever found for the 'Services' facility.

Do any of you use the 3rd party icon designers? Would you recomend
them? Need icons for some apps (and also some web page logos) and want
a professional to do it.

Hi All (that are still talking to me anyway) ;-)
I just installed the Gutenprinter drivers on her Mini (10.4.8) and
although all 'looks' well (I can browse to the workgroup, PC, shared
printer etc), still nothing coming out the printer and I get the error

Has anyone got this working?
I've set up a PowerMail filter to run the Growl script whenever new mail
comes in, but it seems either PowerMail isn't growling or Growl can't
hear it.

Hello good people
After buying a used iBook G4 I have decided I would like to format and
reinstall MacOSX. When I insert Disk 1 I am told to restart the
computer to begin the installation. Here is the message I get shortly

Due to my MacBook suffering from the Random Shutdown problem, I'm now
getting uptimes as little as 7 minutes, and it then takes a few attempts
to get it to boot.
This is my crash reboot log for the past week

Are you both coming down for the Expo this year? I do hope so.

i am wondering if it is possible, to show hidden files in the finder.
Does anyone now how to configure it to do so ?

If I want to transfer photos loaded on one Mac (with comments) to
another Mac, what's the best way? There doesn't seem to be a 'generate
archive' option. Not that I want to transfer them, not just share them.

I would like to try using my Fujifilm FinePix S7000 as the input device
for iStopMotion, but it seems from my researches that this will be
impossible.
Does anyone know otherwise?
