I've just installed RC1 of Vista on a 2GHz Macbook with 1Gb RAM via

defualt mail signatures12 Sep 2006 19:43 GMT-
All this talk of alternative mail identities reminded me that one of
mine did not have a signature, and I would like it to, so I opened the
Mail preferences and added a signature - by defualt Mail inserted the
identity name and email address, just what I wanted.

For the past 4-5 months there's beeen a quiet but noticeable beeping
from within my Dual 2GHz G5. (10.4.7)

Playlist folders12 Sep 2006 18:07 GMT1
iTunes 6 (shortly to be obsolete) supports creating source folders
containing other folders/playlists/tracks. My ancient (already
obsolete) iPod flattens all this out.
Do newer iPods support nested playlists etc?
iTMS gone blank12 Sep 2006 17:25 GMT12
Try going to the iTMS now. All you get is a black window with:

Showtime: when and where?12 Sep 2006 17:00 GMT11
If I've worked it out correctly, "showtime" is 6pm over here, right?
I presume someone will be watching ready to break the news here.
Anywhere promising coverage?
I still think it's iTunes Movies.
The Mac-only lifestyle12 Sep 2006 16:05 GMT90
I was wondering: how many people here use only a Mac, and not a Windows
PC? Or, how many Mac users also have a Windows PC at home that they
choose to use?
Pretty much the first time I used Windows was in September last year

I need to play a .dss file .I have searched for a codec as well as

to play it.I tried making use of JMF(Java Media Framework) but it does
not provide support for .dss file format. If I need to play a .dss file
