iTunes 7 glitch14 Sep 2006 10:13 GMT5
When switching tabs to the newly positioned Music sync tab in iTunes 7,
the list of selected playlists gets drawn with some blank lines.
Going to somewhere else in the source list and then back to the iPod
tends to sort it out though.
iTunes and unknown albums14 Sep 2006 10:12 GMT3
Why doesn't iTunes group together all tracks (belonging to a particular
artist) without a proper album, into a single album? The way it manages
things, you can get half a dozen silly unknown albums in a row. It
should lump them together.
iTunes feature gone missing?14 Sep 2006 10:05 GMT2
In iTunes 6 you could leave your iPod playlist in the left-hand panel
without the iPod being connected and edit it prior to iPod being
connected.. Now the iPod contents only appear when iPod (in my case iPod
Shuffle) is connected. Or have I missed a setting somewhere?

OpenDNS14 Sep 2006 09:01 GMT3
Recently NTL Ireland severed its links with NTL UK. Now all traffic travels
via Amsterdam and it's not good - I don't have the terminology to describe
it, but Web and Usenet access stutters and stalls.
Someone suggested I take a look at <http://www.opendns.com> which I did and
dotmac over-zealously filtering out forwaded mail?14 Sep 2006 08:40 GMT7
Past couple of days nearly all my mail, which is forwarded by my domain
hosting company to a dotmac mail account, isn't appearing in the latter
account. There are others seeing this too in Apple Discussions.

Non Apple bluetooth mouse jerky14 Sep 2006 00:43 GMT6
I bought a Microsoft explorer mouse for bluetooth, and although it
works great with my work PC, the tracking is noticeably jerky with my
Mac mini.
The Apple forums seem to be full of similar reports with all manner of

Games for new iPods only?13 Sep 2006 20:32 GMT13
You need a generation 5 iPod to play the new games? Is that the new
ones only? I've got a 60Gb iPod video (the black one). Model number
A1136. It won't play the games. Says I need a software update.
What generation is my 60Gb iPod then?
iTunes 7 and Last.fm13 Sep 2006 19:50 GMT-
I'm guessing this is going to be of minority interest, but for anyone
who `scrobbles', iTunes 7 is now broken with Last.fm (the radio still
works, but it won't submit any new tracks).  The workaround is to ditch
the Last.fm stand-alone player and revert to the old iScrobbler menu
