General Osbervations of the people that post here,16 Sep 2006 22:06 GMT1
You really are the biggest bunch of butt-f.cking queers I have ever

iTunes 7: Can't manually add artwork16 Sep 2006 18:18 GMT22
Hmmm... Looks like another iTunes 7 'feature'.
I loaded a folder full of mp3s into the library then tried to paste the

Deleted the iTunes Library files and fired up iTunes 6 then tried to paste

On my 2002 G4 iMac 700Mhz I have tried for the 1st time to connect an external
monitor via the miniVGA plug, but all I see is a totally flurry and moving
image; moreover, when I connect the miniVGA adaptor, the 'Monitor' control of
DivX and iTunes 7 - sorted16 Sep 2006 16:14 GMT5
Well, not just iTunes 7.
Open yon DivX fillum in QuickTime Player. Do a File->Save As and choose
'Save as a reference movie'.
This effectively saves a 'how to open this fillum' file that iTunes can

iTunes 7; Downgrading back to iTunes 616 Sep 2006 15:47 GMT9
So it seems that, having upgraded to 7 it's not possible to downgrade back
to 6 - I guess due to the extra attributes in the library.
Luckily I'd taken a backup of my iTunes 6 library before updating :-)
If there's anyone thinking of giving 7 a try, REMEMBER TO BACKUP THE LIBRARY

You all are so sweet, thank you!  Zoara, thanks for remembering :-).
Most everyone else in my world forgot!  Didn't help that I'm getting
over a horrid cold, and Hubs is on the end of 'flu.
I'm still here.  Occasionally read, but not so often anymore.  P just

PageMaker(?) files16 Sep 2006 10:36 GMT5
I've been asked by a PC user to recover the contents of some old Mac
disks containing genealogical data.  Some of the files are MS Word, and
no problem, but some display an icon with the letter P and the numeral
4.  File type is ALB4 and creator is ALD4.  I'm guessing that these are
MacBook.... should I?16 Sep 2006 10:16 GMT5
Got a letter today offering to refund me the couple of month's money I

small amount of cash.
