I am just reading on the apple site how you great multicam editing is in Final Cut pro and they show a band playing live etc.... I had thought I could use this to record a play next week but then it hit me I only have one firewire port so I assume this is completely offline ...

Hmmm... Looks like another iTunes 7 'feature'. I loaded a folder full of mp3s into the library then tried to paste the album artwork into the artwork box in the usual fashion. Nothing... Deleted the iTunes Library files and fired up iTunes 6 then tried to paste

Well, not just iTunes 7. Open yon DivX fillum in QuickTime Player. Do a File->Save As and choose 'Save as a reference movie'. This effectively saves a 'how to open this fillum' file that iTunes can

So it seems that, having upgraded to 7 it's not possible to downgrade back to 6 - I guess due to the extra attributes in the library. Luckily I'd taken a backup of my iTunes 6 library before updating :-) If there's anyone thinking of giving 7 a try, REMEMBER TO BACKUP THE LIBRARY

Using QuickTime Pro & MacBook Pro Built in iSight - RAW recording video... so if I was to put it on the highest quality setting ("raw") could it realistically record for 60 minutes...
