Any ideas how much it'll cost to get it fixed?

Battery recall cockup20 Sep 2006 20:37 GMT2
Called up UPS today to collect my old battery.  They turns up, and hand
over another new battery.  Yes, Apple, in their infinite wisdom, has now
sent me TWO batteries to replace the one 'dodgy' one.
Now I'm pondering, dare I hang on to this 'spare' one and keep quiet
iTV20 Sep 2006 18:36 GMT4
It seems there's more to iTV than was said by Steve at the recent
launch, it does have an hard drive, seems as though data in losest
sense can be stored on any computer then sent to iTV to displayed on
your TV (hope this works with CRT sets) and more interestingly it was
Macs, MACS and the Football League20 Sep 2006 18:26 GMT4
The observant among you will have noticed that I'm a bit keen on
football and, as a Southend United fan in Preston, don't get to see huge

Mighty Mouse and Airport Extreme weirdness20 Sep 2006 15:27 GMT1
I just noticed a real oddity. I sat down at my PowerBook and noticed
that my BT Mighty Mouse was dragging - responding, but really slowly.
On a pure whim I turned off my Airport connection (it is normally off
but I was using it last night, only with the trackpad) and immediately
80GB iPods - availability?20 Sep 2006 14:39 GMT23
My local AppleStore tells me they have no stock of 80GB iPods and don't
know when they'll have them in.
I suspect that the online promise of "2 days" is rubbish.
Anyone got one of the "5G Enhanced" iPods yet? Where from?
iPod nano stress-testing20 Sep 2006 14:26 GMT-
This is becoming an ars tradition:

I won't ruin the excitement and suspense, you'll have to read the article
to see how it compares to the infamous stress-test of the old nano (where

iPod 3G resale price?20 Sep 2006 12:27 GMT4
Looking on eBay, 15GB 3G iPods go for as much as seventy quid, or thirty
if broken.
Can't be right, surely?
