I found this old thing in my loft. I presume it was left up there and
forgotten by the previous tenant.
It looks like an old Apple prototype to me, but I'd like to hear the
opinions of the experts in this group.

I have an external firewire disk to which I backup my powerbook using
Carbon Copy Cloner. How do I stop spotlight trying to index this drive
every time I mount it?

Is there a proper working solution to this yet? the ones I can find and
have tried cause either distorted sound or cause quicktime to close.

So to get the artwork for 'free' i have to open an iTunes account and
put a credit card on file.
I dislike DRM, I dislike iTunes. I won't ever spend a penny there.

I'm looking for a simple app to do audio stream recording- not from line
or USB (I use Sound Studio for that) but from a browser. 10.3.9, 10.2.8
if possible. And free, as I doubt I'll use it even once a month.
AIFF or MPEG output would be fine.
