As title says, I'm trying to install 10.3 on an ibook G4 with ubuntu on
it. I have three mac os install cds and I try and boot with the first
one and just get a circle with a bar across it (a stop sign). I held
down the alt key and booted with the 1st cd but got just a stop sign.

Comic Life installs a bunch of fonts, and creates a collection for them
in Font Book (and every other application's font panel). In every
applicaiton other than Comic Life, and in Font Book, that collection is

Does anyone know a technique to search for QuickTime movies using frame
resolution as a criterion? I want to find video of various religious
ceremonies (baptism, for example) and not just at postage stamp size.

A strange one this, I can no longer share my iTunes and iPhoto libraries
between my iBook and G5.
I have ascertained that this is a specific problem though. I *can*
connect to the G5 using the 'Connect to Server' dialogue, and all

Both myself, on three accounts, and my MIL cannot send mail through
