I've got a DV file where the sound was sourced from a mixing desk and is
encoded with stereo sum and difference (i.e. on the left channel is a
mono mix from L+R of the original signal, and on the right channel is a
difference signal of L-R from the original).

You can stop a podcast and go back to it - days later - and it remembers
where you'd got to.
