About the time Win95 was released, Apple did a few parody videos. "Can't Use This" (taken from "Can't Touch This") and "Killing My Software With Windows" (taken from "Killing me Softly"). Someone's asked me for them, and I can't find 'em. I can find audio

I'm looking for something similar to a card index for the Palm that will sync with a similar application on OSX via Missing Sync. I want to be able to search alphabetically on both devices. At the moment I'm adding notes to the address book but this is not ideal

I have a wireless router my friend has given me, unfortunately not a modem router, just a plain wireless and 4 port ethernet router. It's a Belkin 54g box, which runs on the 192.168.x.x range. My BB router uses the 10.0.0.x range.

| iBook external monitor | 24 Aug 2006 16:35 GMT | 2 |
I sometimes use my iBook G4 with an external monitor. I've done the screen-spanning thang, not because I want screen-spanning, but because I couldn't find any other way to run the external monitor at its native 1280x1024 resolution. Mirroring only lets me use the iBook's native

| MacBook mini video out thingie | 24 Aug 2006 15:48 GMT | 1 |
I want a DVI adapter and a VGA adapter for it. However, I have lots of DVI-to-VGA adapters already, so could I just get the DVI one and use one of my existing adapters? Or does the Apple DVI adapter only output DVI-Digital and not digital *and* analogue?

| control-CMD-D: pop-up dictionary | 24 Aug 2006 14:27 GMT | - |
I never knew this... control-CMD-D a highlighted word in Mail / Safari (dunno what else) pops up a contextual dictionary. I knew right-click would gove you the option to open Dictionary but wasn't aware of the pop-up.

| Should gays be allowed to babysit? | 24 Aug 2006 02:51 GMT | 1 |
I'm all for gay rights - I think they should maybe have the right to vote and be able to work. But because of the risk they pose, perhaps their work could be limited to working in the sewers,

My MacBook has just come back from being de-auto-restarted but something strange is going on. When I got it home it was fine and I managed to install the Firmware update and then the latest security update via my home wireless network as usual. However, once my MacBook rebooted ...
