I thought some of you may be interested to know that the makers of Curio
(a piece of software to help plan projects or put ideas together) is
offering a free basic version. It's available from

Whilst I love my new 15" MacBook Pro, I find that I still feel the need
for something a bit smaller when I'm away on trips (my old 12" iBook was
better for this). All I need it to do is play MP3s, DVDs and let me surf
the web wirelessly. What's the minimum spec I can get away with ...

I've had my iPod plugged into my iMac for several days now, during which time
the iMac has been rebooted & iTunes restarted a couple of time. Now iTunes
won't 'see' my iPod, and the iPod icon doesn't appear on the desktop. I've

The most impressive thing is the screen in daylight. I always struggled
to to read the PB outdoors, but the BB is still wonderfully bright and
clear even when the sun comes out.

I got the Nike+ iPod Sport kit today and tried it out tonight. I don¹t
have a pair of the proper Nike shoes yet so I just stuck it under the
insole of a pair of Caterpillar trainers I have. They have a thick

Does the basic Apple USB keyboard that Apple UK are selling for
19 quid come with an integrated USB hub? Something like that is
almost essential for a G4 Mac Mini, which only comes with two USB
ports.

My latest dissappearing act is now over (Afghanistan - interesting, to

Finally getting sick and tired of the slowness of copying files around via
my ancient Aiprort base station, I head over to the Apple Store to look into
buying an Airport Extreme base station, only I can't find it on there
anywhere! Am I being dim, or has it been discontinued?

I collected a new Macbook on Friday from John Lewis.
On setting it up I have found the following issues:
1) 1 stuck/dead pixel on screen
2) slight warping of case around battery
