Anyone have any suggestions for a decent webcam for use on aMSN?
Nothing too exotic, just something for me and my daughter to use.

For a friend I'm looking for a all in one Printer/Fax/Scanner that will work
on a beige G3 running system 8.5 or 9.0 ?. The G3 has had a USB card fitted.
The all in ones I have seen are OSX only. If we have to, will the G3 be able
to run OSX. It has 768MB, the HD has been upgraded. ...

Which is best for not chewing 20,30,40% of the CPU when you're not using it?
Camino regularly does this, as does Safari.
How's Firefox in this regard, or Omniweb, Opera?

I was experimenting with my iDisk settings, and used the Sync mode to
have an offline version (it's only one gig, so not too much disc space).
I thought I'd try bunging my MacSOUP folder into the Documents folder on
my iDisk, and then alias it to my user Documents folder. It worked ...

I've transferred all my music from my local drive on to a shared drive
hosted on a second machine.
It all works well except the music gets interrupted whenever I try to do
anything, e.g. open a URL in Safari or when Mail sees if there is

We've tried disclabel but, frankly, we couldn't make it work.  I suspect
this was more our fault than the designers of the package but the UI was

hi i save a  pict file but when i open them again they are blank! or
appear so in preview.....just the grey background appears. also having
trouble opening pict files in ARTMATIC which is the format that is

I'm having trouble getting my Airport express act as a wireless bridge
between my wireless network and a wired device (a Mac Mini). The Mac
mini does not have an airport card in it.

Never thought I'd see the day, etc etc

I need to move my Mac Mini to an area in the house that does not have an
ethernet connection. My Mac Mini does not have bluetooth or wireless -
can I buy a wireless card to put in it? I will need internet connectivity.

Found 'Todos" (via CrazyAppleRumors). I use TigerLaunch, but this looks good
for those "I know I've got it, but I don't know where it is" moments. I

After many happy years with Firefox 0.9 I found that it would not
display properly the new-style yahoo home page.  Although this was not
a big deal, I took it as a sign that I should upgrade.  So I now have
Firefox 1.5.0.6 on my MDD G4 with OSX 10.3.9.
