The most exciting thing announced in the whole WWDC is iCal Server in
10.5 Server.
Along with the changes in iCal, this will finally enable Apple to have a
viable Groupware solution for SME.

Entourage spring cleaning17 Aug 2006 16:58 GMT2
Wow. I archived off about 40,000 emails from Entourage, deleted them
and then compressed the database. Entourage is now very fast snappy
indeed.
All part of the GTD set-up for starting back to work next week. In the

Video and MacBook?17 Aug 2006 08:18 GMT10
Apologies if this is the wrong place, but I'm thinking of buying a
camcorder: one use will be to record interviews and focus groups which
might last up to two hours. Is it possible to record direct to a laptop
disk via firewire?
Outlook<-->iPaq<-->Entourage16 Aug 2006 23:00 GMT2
Is it possible to have a HP iPaq sync with Outlook on Windows and
Entourage on Macintosh so that the iPaq is a conduit between Outlook

Getting Things Done - Mac tools16 Aug 2006 18:42 GMT26
Anyone here implemented David Allen's Getting Things Done [1], or some
variant of it, in order to sort out the mountain of stuff they have to
do?
What tools on the Mac did you find useful?
BOKO death16 Aug 2006 16:43 GMT8
The power socket on my 1.25GHz Boko has been playing up for a while and
decided to fail today :-(
Questions - what's the easiest method to get the data off the HD? Will
it work temporarily in an older 1GHz Boko? Can it be shoved in an
Boot Camp lifespan?16 Aug 2006 16:33 GMT8
Anyone care to wager whether Boot Camp will still be availabale as a
download after Leotard is released?

The combination Cmnd-` (that's command grave accent) in most apps brings a
different window (of the same app) to the front. And jolly useful it is, too.
In Excel it does something inexplicable, which can't be undone. What is it

I was extremely pleased upon upgrading my iBoko's RAM from 512 to
1024MiB, that the previously-observed treacle had completely
disappeared.  This would be why; upon booting up, logging in and
launching (but not using) my usual smorgasbord of apps:
