Airport signal strength18 Aug 2006 23:43 GMT2
Something odd has happened to the wireless signal strength on my 2 year

strength at the furthest away point that I use it from my Netgear ADSL
wireless router was excellent, all bars lit and it had a reliable

I returned the mp3 player that I bought last week, and exchanged it for a
samsung YP-U2QB. It's a nice player, good layout of buttons etc. Except that
it works fine in windows, and despite being a UMS device, doesn't get picked
up by the mac at all. It shows in the system profile ...

Lost the bottom of my window18 Aug 2006 20:28 GMT5
I am a new Mac user (Macbook) and only got it yesterday. So far I am
thrilled but have one annoying proble. I bought Parallels which is so
impresive, but in OSX and the application is not full screen, the
window is below the bottom of the screen so I am unable to resize it (I

Just reading about the new hand luggage restrictions. Which I wouldn't
be too surprised if they suddenly become the normal hand-luggage
guidelines, but still.

A friend of mine has finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade his

Flash MX2004 to Flash 5 conversion18 Aug 2006 13:30 GMT10
Are there any utilities to convert Flash files in MX2004 format to
Flash 5 format that can be opened with Quicktime Pro?

Apple Support18 Aug 2006 12:47 GMT4
I know certain individuals here have had problems with Apple support,
but my experience today was very different.
I called them about the battery in my PowerBook. It now only holds a
charge for about 50 minutes, and since it's only around 10 months old I
Intel iMac USB (?) fault18 Aug 2006 12:47 GMT3
A friend has a 2 month old Intel iMac that's having problems - the
keyboard and mouse behave intermittently - freezing several times a
minute for a couple of seconds, then perhaps only once every few
minutes. The mouse is plugged into the keyboard, and these are the only
