| Airport signal strength | 18 Aug 2006 23:43 GMT | 2 |
Something odd has happened to the wireless signal strength on my 2 year old 15" PowerBook. When I bought it new (Panther OS X 10.3) the signal strength at the furthest away point that I use it from my Netgear ADSL wireless router was excellent, all bars lit and it had a reliable

| It's a rare "wish I hadn't gone mac" day | 18 Aug 2006 23:21 GMT | 33 |
I returned the mp3 player that I bought last week, and exchanged it for a samsung YP-U2QB. It's a nice player, good layout of buttons etc. Except that it works fine in windows, and despite being a UMS device, doesn't get picked up by the mac at all. It shows in the system profile ...

Are there any utilities to convert Flash files in MX2004 format to Flash 5 format that can be opened with Quicktime Pro? One of the free images from iStockPhoto [1] this week is a Flash animation of some numbers. Might be useful for using in Keynote. But it

| Apple Support | 18 Aug 2006 12:47 GMT | 4 |
I know certain individuals here have had problems with Apple support, but my experience today was very different. I called them about the battery in my PowerBook. It now only holds a charge for about 50 minutes, and since it's only around 10 months old I

A friend has a 2 month old Intel iMac that's having problems - the keyboard and mouse behave intermittently - freezing several times a minute for a couple of seconds, then perhaps only once every few minutes. The mouse is plugged into the keyboard, and these are the only
