I know quite a bit about all flavours of Windows, and TCP/IP networking, but my knowledge of Macs has been limited to connecting them up to Windows or Solaris servers and sorting out the file sharing. I've been asked to look at a Mac problem.

I have two iTunes folders, one on the office computer and one on the home computer. I've mounted the office HD on the home computer, and drag and dropped the iTunes folders into the left and right panels of FileMerge.

I'm thinking about putting a 2nd hard drive inside my Powermac G5 (2 x 2Ghz, approx 20 months old). The instructions on apple.com make this sound simple, but at the same time say that only RAM is user upgradeable, implying that the HD is not.

Well I got my hands on the MacBook today, it took me 4 hours to copy my old files and prefs across, rename users as stupidly I had created the same user/pass combo on the MacBook as I had had on the iBoko, download universal/intel versions of things and all, thought I had got it
