| AppleCare | 31 May 2006 22:04 GMT | 16 |
I was wondering if anyone knew much about the T&C of AppleCare. I've got some fairly hefty issues with my 18 month old iBook which is out of its free hardware repair period. The T&C on the Apple site seem to suggest that even if I buy it now it would backdate to when my iBook's

Dear All What is the preferred (least bad) way for a Mac user with iSight to video chat to a Windows user? (I have been unable to convince the Windows user to dump the Wintel PC and buy an iMac and so use iChat.)

| Notes from a (very) small island | 31 May 2006 16:49 GMT | 8 |
Am just returned from the Isle of Man (so small that it fits onto one Ordnance Survey 1:50000 sheet, only slightly pushing into the margins) and thought I'd cheer you Wi-Fi users with how *.gov.im is running things over there.

Just given this a try - works very nicely and I've saved four gigs on my laptop shared between two XP instances. Both XP instances were taking up 3.65Gig, after running the compressor they're now taking up 1.76Gig.

I've been using MP3s for a very long time, certainly pre-dating iTunes. Before iTunes I organised my MP3s in the way that many iPod haters seem to like - with the artist's name, track number and name in the title. Didn't bother with ID3 tags. Nowadays, of course, the vast majority ...
