Because the Nano, iPhone and generation 6 "Classic" bodies are metal to
metal the body gets completely trashed upon opening. In the Nanos ...

Strange behaviour of Apple Mail app02 Dec 2008 16:42 GMT5
I'm running a iMac G5 power PC with OS X 10.4.11.
I have just noticed that every mail stored in the mail app has changed
the date sent or received to 26.  The only exceptions are mails sent or
received today or yesterday and they are shown as "Today" or

I have all the firewall and screen sharing settings set the same on my
new MacBook and my mini. Yet Screen Sharing on the mini can access the

Flashing world map on startup01 Dec 2008 23:00 GMT10
So a few minutes ago the Intel Mac flashes a little map of the
world where the Apple logo usually is on startup (on the gray
screen background).  I've never seen this before.  Over and over,
the same.  Then I pressed Option on startup and saw my hard drive
iPhone SDK download problems01 Dec 2008 22:35 GMT15
I've had it. 3 attemps to download the 1.6 GB package. You'd think
that someone, anyone, at Apple would understand that a 1.6 GB download
is too much for one fell swoop.
On my 256 DSL line, it's more than 17 hours. That's right. 17+ hours.
Gawd! i hate computers ( NonSpecific Rant! )01 Dec 2008 21:50 GMT41
So i got invited over to some relatives house for Thanksgiving, and i
was trying to expose them to Google Earth, which i've fallen madly in
love with, and It wouldn't load for some reason.
The Wintel computer seemed to be one that was very recently purchased,
