| Normal to see Backups.backupdb as a folder on a Time Machine drive? | 06 Jul 2008 11:11 GMT | 4 |
Is it normal to see Backups.backupdb as a folder on an external HD used for Time Machine? I'm surprised it's not showing up as a bundle. It seems like this makes the backup too easily messed with by newbies and software that looks for an available app and doesn't care where it's

| Desktop Clutter -- Why? | 04 Jul 2008 21:31 GMT | 116 |
I have a number of acquaintances whose Mac desktops are a literal sea of icons, sometimes containing well over a hundred, sometimes arranged by name, sometimes arranged randomly, and whose docks contain so many icons that the size of those icons is minute. I fail to see how such ...

| AOL does it right? | 04 Jul 2008 19:40 GMT | 6 |
For most of my mail chores I use Mac Mail, although I still have an account with AOL as does my wife. I was very surprised when I downloaded and installed the new AOL Desktop for Mac. It has a very neat and clean appearance.
