I happened to notice last night that the remaining battery time on my
Powerbook was much less than I would have expected given how I was using it.
It's something like a six-month old battery so I was feeling annoyed, of
course, fearing it was failing prematurely.  For some reason ...

I have a whacky, low priority question, but I'd still appreciate some
advice on how to fix it.  I recently downgraded from Leopard to Tiger

I have a friend who wants to connect her iMac (core duo, OS X 10.5) to
her home stereo receiver.  The only hitch is that she wants the system
audio to continue coming out of the computer speakers while everything
else is routed to the receiver.

I accidentally disconnected my TM drive from the computer (meant to
disconnect the mouse). I had to play around with shutting down the
computer, disconnecting the drive, powering the drive down,
reconnecting, powering up and telling my iMac to use the drive for TM.

Everytime I attach my ipod, Time Machine starts a backup.

I've been only into Macs (with my iMac) for a really short time now,
but I thought an iPhone could run almost any Mac application that a

Error while installing OS 10.3. I got an error with installed disk 2.
