Windoze XP - wired ethernet - iMac 10.5.3. - Canon IP4500 printer Latest printer drivers from Canon on all computers Bonjour client from Apple on the PC If I print from the XP box, nothing comes out of the printer.

I have a g4 400 that was upped to a 1.6 aftermarket. I need to boot in OS9 and somewhere along the line it stopped booting in 9 all together.

Please redirect me if there's a better place to post this. All I need is a simple applescript to open all the files in a specific folder. That's it. The contents of the folder change regularly, but are all opened by the same app. Thanks!

I'm not very familiar with Apple's Mail.app; I've been using Entourage for years. I am temporarily forced to use Mail on a new MB Pro because I am short one MS Office Mac license (have only six licenses, need seven).

Can any of you Mac users help ? I just bought a Casio CTK-710 and installed the driver for XP. It installed and found the Casio with no problem. Everytime I turn the Casio on XP recognizes the unit perfectly.

I no longer program, but I have several old ResEdit files from the 80s & 90s that I'd like to recover PICTs, ICONs, SNDs, and TEXTs from. What tools could I use to do this under Leopard? Also, I use a G5; will there be any problems with the above formats on an Intel machine

Back in the day, when System 7 was new, there were numerous sources for downloadable alert sounds for Mac. Later, as sound blaster on PC gave those wanna-be's the same capability, there were sources for wave sounds of similar nature.

I have a CompUSA external Firewire 400 enclosure that has issues. The drive is set to master, it mounts in OS X Panther and OS 9.2.2 on my Dual USB iBook but does not appear on my G4 Sawtooth in either OSX Tiger or 9.2.2. Answers are appreciated. Thanks.

I'm having a problem with my 1581. I can load and list the directory of a disk and everything is fine. When I try a second disk, listing the directory shows the directory of the first disk. I have to turn the 1581(or C64) off and back on to reset the 1581 before I can load

As you can see I use Newsreader.com. I've always been happy with them. But lately all downloads have slowed to less than 300 kbps. Today in fact just over 100 kbps. But, only with this newsreader. When I download updates from Apple or something from Tucows etc average is 1.2 to 1 ...
