SATA connectors?03 Jun 2008 12:25 GMT3
I just bought a 3.5" SATA Barracuda drive and an external case.  The
case is suppose to have three ports; USB 2, FW 400, and SATA.  The

keeping Firewire drive spinning03 Jun 2008 10:19 GMT2
I prefer to boot my PPC Mini (Tiger) from a Firewire drive because it's
faster than the OEM internal drive.  Recently I switched from a
Ministack to a Macally enclosure.  Now it sometimes takes more than half

I went to my Mac and it didn't have a dock.  I used Spotlight to open
Parallels to send this message, and opened Firefox a couple of times,
as tabbing didn't work.   I did find some old messages about this
problem, but I have 10.5.2.

block windows access to internet completely on bootcamp?02 Jun 2008 10:19 GMT27
I will be putting Vmware and XP on my new laptop. Is there a way to
completely set windows so it has NO access to the internet?  I would
intentionally uninstall internet explorer or at least make it very
inaccessable by deleting shortcuts.  It would be great if there is an

offer UMPCs with prices ranging from ~ $400 - $800. How will Apple's
MacBooks fare under the pressure?

I have tried two Sonnet Tango cards and neither will properly transmit a
