Hi all, getting there slowly. Is it possible to import an XP Address Book
contents into OS X Contacts? If so How?
It would be nice to do the same with Favourites from XP IE7.

Something annoying happens when I use quickbooks on my mac.  Also I am
using Leopard.
When I am making entries into the Quickbooks register, my keyboard
responds normally until I hit the Command-Tab to look at a browser,

What is the recommended BT mouse (or trackball) for iMac (or Macbook Pro)?
Preferably one does that require software installation.

I try sending a message but it goes right into the Outbox...no progress
bar in the Activity Monitor, no audible "swish", Connection Doctor
shows green dots for all accounts in/out...
I quit Mail and re-launch, open the message and click SEND and it goes

Occasionally (once a week or so) after my Mac wakes from sleep I find
that there is no menu bar, and nothing responds. So far the only

I was wondering if someone could help me out with this. I bought a
1-terrabyte external hard drive that is actually two 500gb drives in a
single case. It is described as a JBOD subsystem for two 3.5" SATA
drives with USB interface, and claims to be "MAC compatible." But

All I ve found is Leopard 10.5 and updates to 10.4..
My G4 will not take 10.5. I've found the Sys X10 and back to sys 7.0

As we are still waiting for the iPhone to arrive in Switzerland:
What is the best (easiest, safest, Š) current method to remove the
SIMlock on a US iPhone when in Switzerland, ie outside of the US?

just received my new macbook, i have a pc and an ipod with my music
library loaded on both and sync'd together.  is it possible to copy my
music library intact to my new macbook?
