Wondering what others' readings are. Go to Activity Monitor, make sure your Toolbar is displayed, then make sure All Processes is being displayed. Click on Virtual Memory to sort and probably kernel_task will be at the top. With Executor right below it. I use 2gb 667mhz

For some time now I have had SuperDuper! set up so that each night two smart backup runs will occur, one at 2:00 A.M. and one at 5:00 A.M. My Energy Saver preferences are set so that the computer never sleeps and the screen will sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity.
