I notice I have the option to turn on/off the translucent menu bar on my
Intel Mini, but I don't see it on my PPC Mini.  Does the processor make
that much difference?

On a 1st generation Aluminium 24" 2.8GHz iMac running 10.5.2:
Menus open after a couple seconds or more. Switching apps results in
several seconds or even up to 30 seconds in some cases of the spinning
beachball. World of Warcraft is jumpy. Etc, etc.

I don't know why, but grab, in the Services sub menu of the Application
menu, just does not work for me.  The items of the sub menu are all
