I have used Text Wrangler to change the character coding and line ends
of some documents that I have imported from Windows systems but which
did not display correctly in Text Edit.

Lately my imac spends 2 minutes thinking after I have entered my password

My sister has a Mac G4 and I want to get her a DVD drive.  Does anyone
know if the HP DVD1040i Lightscribe drive or the Sony DRU190A 20x DVD
drive will work? She is running the Tiger OS.
