I am getting quite a few downloaded apps that will not open - when I try to open their disc image I get a box with the message 'not recognised' etc in it and the image wont open. I have tried to 'repair' a couple of these images with the disc utility

After updating Camino to version 1.6, Safari (and my other browsers) have started acting like a Windows browser: typing "yahoo" in the url pane doesn't take you to http://www.yahoo.com. Now I get an error message and have to type out the whole url.
