Can any email program do this?15 Apr 2008 05:03 GMT29
Can any email program automatically put a copy of a sent message into a
mailbox after its been sent?  When I'm conversing with people I have to
later go and retrieve the Sent messages and group them in that Inbox.  I
really love OS X Mail except for this.  Then again, maybe its ...
iBook "A1055"---I cannot figure out what battery to buy.15 Apr 2008 04:56 GMT30
The apple website doesn't even seem to admit that the A1055 exists.
This is for a friend of mine.
Can someone tell me where I can find the full specifications for this iBook?
The only google results yield people selling them, and nothing
Best OS X email program?15 Apr 2008 04:50 GMT32
I realize Mail is a very good program but I was wondering how many of
you avid OS X users find Eudora superior and why?  Or is there another
favorite?

document (no XML elements etc.) obviously compressed in some way, how

Thanks.
osx cron jobs14 Apr 2008 14:39 GMT29
My brother is a brand new Switcher. He doesn't leave his Mac on all the
time, so he runs his cron jobs with MainMenu. He thinks it's a drag to
do daily, weekly, and monthly separately, so before he leaves for work
in the morning he just chooses "All Scripts" and heads out the ...

Wot is the difference between 1password and 1passwd?14 Apr 2008 02:58 GMT1
They look the same to me.
What happens if you lose/forget your master passwords for 'login' and
'1password'. There must be an App outhere that can display the
password: it's just reverse engineering, rite?
Safari and Shockwave Flash14 Apr 2008 02:46 GMT1
Recently (I think since the last batch of updates from Apple), I'm
getting popup windows saying "Safari cannot find the Internet
plug-in," indicating the missing plugin is for Shockwave-Flash.
I've tried going to the indicated page and installing the plugin, but
Drive spins up every 15 minutes14 Apr 2008 01:56 GMT13
I'm running 10.5.2 on a Core 2 Duo iMac.
Every 15 minutes I hear my Firewire drive spin up for some reason.  It's
not on even 15-minute boundaries, so I assume it's tied to my boot or
login times.
Is it OS-Ten or OS-Ecks?13 Apr 2008 19:42 GMT56
Oh, sure, it followed OS9 so it must be OS-Ten but I think
Apple just couldn't resist the play on letters and digits
and went for what they thought would be cool --
that is, the X that simultaneously represents uniX and 10.
Drive Sharing Problems!13 Apr 2008 19:06 GMT1
I've got several macs on the home network, and one of them is on
jaguar, the rest on leopard.  I'm having no luck seeing the jaguar
drives from any other machine.  The leopard machines all talk fine.
I've got two firewire drives on the jaguar machine, all with all

I am running the latest Leopard on a MacBook and frequently have
problems with incorrect volume file and directory counts, when I run
fsck.
Anyone know what could be causing this?

Very slow speeds from Airport Extreme13 Apr 2008 06:35 GMT5
I've got an Airport Extreme (square shape) that has very slow access
speeds.
Currently set to 802.11n (with b/g compatibility) and being accessed by
a MacBook with 802.11n, it mostly only manages to pump out ~130 bytes a
