This is really getting me down.
I can't find any way to organize my "priceless" computer files.
Have made several half-hearted attempts to organize, but it
just takes too long.

I want to partition a 500GB external FW drive, allotting 400GB to HFS
Extended/Journaled (the way the drive is currently formatted) and 100GB
to NTFS (not FAT32). The disk is brand new and has no data on it. The
solution does not have to be free; shareware or commercial software

I have an e-mail address from my ISP, verizon.net, that I have never
given to any person and never once used to send e-mail -- I use my own
domains (as listed below) and G-Mail. I could not have sent e-mail from
the address by accident because my e-mail software is not configured to

My local public library offers audiobook files for "checkout." The
problem is those files are all DRM files that can't be transferred to my
iPod. Is there any legal or extra-legal way to move these files to my
iPod, to listen to them?

I found out today, that the friend who saves all his files on his
dektop, see different thread, is also using his G5 iMac and the Internet
whilst logged in as Admin.  He has no user accounts set up  How
dangerous is this?

Yesterday I transferred data from an old Mac to my MacBook Pro, via
target disk and firewire. I started using Migration Assistant but didn't
hit the OK button because I was afraid it wouldn't let me select
particular folders (vs transferring my whole Documents folder). So I

I can't believe it, but I compressed a folder on my Mac, transferred
the ZIP file to Vista, and I can't extract it - Vista complains that
I'm trying to extract a folder with the same name as a file that
already exists (which is how it looks in the explorer).

So, can't say I've tried sharing with Windows computers a lot, but
this seems like either a cache problem or a Leopard problem.
