I got a second-hand imac from a relative.
It's a CRT unit model M5521  500MHz  yr 2000.
I cannot get OS to load. All I get after a while is a little Mac logo

I have had the source to this program for years.  It has easily compiled
on many different machines, but gcc is enough different that I am at a
standstill.  Has anybody compiled this on 10.4 or 10.5 and can you share
what needs to be done to make it work?

Using OS 10.4.11 with Epson Stylus Photo R300. All going well, till
suddenly trying to print a printable CD now always produces error
message: "Close CD guide", which makes it rather hard to print the CD.
Tried uninstalling old driver and installing latest driver from Epson
