I added a folder to my Screensaver slideshow. Now I no longer use that folder but I can't find a way to remove the folder from the list of folders. Is there a way to remove this folder from the list? Thanks

What should the permissions be on /System/Library/User Templates ? They are drwx------ whereas everything else in /System/Library is drwxr-xr-x

Hello experts: I have a Power Mac G4 (AGP) whose power supply has failed. ( The fan stopped, was replaced, it ran a few hours then stopped. The battery was replaced and all the PMU CUDA stuff done.

When I run Software Update on my own computer the last stage, "optimizing system performance" normally seems rather slow, but it does eventually finish. However, today I've been running it on a colleague's computer and it's been optimizing system performance for about an hour

I disable Spaces. Many uses of Control-arrow key later in another app and it's enabled again :-( 10.5.2 (worst OSX since 10.1) on an Aluminum 24" 2.8GHz lemon of an iMac.

I bought a 1TB unit yesterday, added it to my wireless network and the backups are CRAWLING. Slower than a slug in snow. A network copy is easily 10 - 30 times faster.
