simple list of ZIP (OSX archive) file contents ?26 Apr 2008 12:39 GMT10
Is there a nice GUI program to list the contents of an archive (.zip)
file? I'm not concerned about a java zip.  Currently, I have to unpack
the whole thing, and then clean up, just to check the contents.
I realize I could use one of the pkZip clones from the command line.

Mac Audio Query25 Apr 2008 21:27 GMT3
I have two microphones and an iMac. The iMac has two input holes in
the back; one is for headphones and the other is presumably for a mic.
I can't get the iMac to recognize either mic. I've gone into System
Preferences ---> Sound and changed the input to "Audio Line-in Port,"

First Album artwork for song25 Apr 2008 15:02 GMT2
is there an easy way to get the initial album art (the first issue of the
song) even if it came off a 'greatest hits' album
for example it would be nice to see the original album art  for "Mr.
Tambourine Man." rather than just a reissue with only 'The Byrds Greatest

I have a MacBook (2 Ghz Intel Core Duo from 2006) running OS X

Flac - stuttering?24 Apr 2008 23:28 GMT7
On my Intel 1.5 Mini with 2gb ram I've always noticed Flac music files
often stutter in the first few seconds, then seem to be fine. Also in
VLC, the counter doesn't work with Flac.  Any suggestions as to how to
remedy this?  Activity Monitor doesn't show any severe workloads.
