The title describes the problem. When I choose "New Finder Window" from the File menu of the finder - no window is created. Same thing if I right-click and choosoe new finder window from the Finder Dock icon.

Dropped old Zip100 drive. I could hear it working and the light lit up, but the computer wouldn`t recongnize it. Bought new (used) Zip250 drive thinking it was the drive, itself, that was broken.

Periodically I run "Repair Disk Permissions" on my wife's computer and it has a huge list of things fixed. Then I go to my computer and it finds nothing. Her computer is a year old.

Hello - when I try to empty the trash (Leopard), I´m left with a O byte alias called "°ÄCi". Dragging it to the trash from the trash (!) empties it. Small, but irritiating. I´ve fixed permissions and run DiskWarrior but it´s still there. Can anyone help figure out what´s
