Or is it just something I've done to my machine (Macbook Pro 2.33 2G
Ram)?
Birthdays have changed?07 Apr 2008 03:35 GMT5
I have just noticed something very strange. When I entered people's

I came into my office and heard the fans running amok. it turns out that
repair_packages was hitting well over 60% CPU usage. Time Machine had just
done a backup. I didn't quit r_p and it quit itself in a minute or two. Can't
see anything in Console.

How do you enable and disable the use of individual ports in Leopard and
Leopard Server?
At present, I cannot access my usual e-mail account from my MacMini
running Leopard Server or from my old G4/867 running Leopard.

Mac OS X 10.5 includes a number of changes to its Unix core, perhaps

I would like to restore my Intel iMac 10.5.2 TM backup to a different

laptop-only stuff that the MBP needs?

Startup Message:  Couldn't find root user.  Sleeping and trying again.06 Apr 2008 00:25 GMT6
Last week I installed an MSO 2004 update on my G5 iMac running 10.4.11.
Then I attempted to repair permissions.  The repair permissions process
halted at about half of the progress bar.  I let it cook for about two
hours without success, then tried to force quit Disk Utility.  I ...
