I have a friend who persists in placing all his personal files on the
desktop.   I remember in the bad old days of Dos 3.1 there was a limit
to the number of files held in the root directory, and I wondered if
there was any similar restriction in the Mac OS.

Bought the new chrome Apple keyboard. Thin is in.
But I liked my "fat" keyboard better.

on the network. Only the Finder is running. Logging out doesn't help;
