Ever since I bought a Belkin 4 port USB expander (from an Apple Store
a couple weeks ago), added 3 USB devices to it: 2 disks (1 Seagate,
1 Western Digital), and 1 HP C5280 printer (I have my Time Machine
backup disk (Seagate) on the other main port) I have had intermittent

Recently I have had trouble when using this printer which is that it
keeps telling me that I have installed 2 Magenta cartridges. Initially
I thought the flashing lights indicated that the Magenta cartridge
needed replaced, but it was almost full of ink and so I put it back

Since a few days, my iSync doesn't start anymore.  I'm synchronizing
on

This is an Imac (2006) Core Duo 20 ". 1 Gig of RAM.
No kernel panics, just Finder freezes and garbled image in windows that
disappear when you click on them. Weird horizontal lines appear on
screen as well, from time to time.

Sometimes I receive documents I'd like to save as PDFs from the print
dialog, but the dialog won't let me. It wouldn't even allow a preview.
This is really annoying.
Is there a way around this, maybe a "fake" printer driver?

Is there a way in system 10.3 to have new folders default to list view
from the start and not icon view with large icons? Also is there a way
not to have the left side list of available volumes and folders as in
the default open folder view?
