Need a server....25 Mar 2008 00:04 GMT7
I am setting up a san and need a server that will serve out afp, afp+,
smb, nfs, cifs etc...
It seems easy enough to find a server for smb, nfs, cifs, but afp
seems harder to find.

Camino is so small and fast.  What's the point in using Firefox? (Is
it just for the extensions and stuff?)

using a Time Capsule to back up an old iMac24 Mar 2008 15:48 GMT27
Our home network contains (among other things) an old 800 MHz G4 iMac
and a Time Capsule (TC).  The TC is currently being used to back up a
newer MacBook that runs Leopard.  I would also like to back up the
iMac to the TC.
Buring DVD24 Mar 2008 12:51 GMT1
I wanted to burn data on a 4.7GB DVD-RW2 (Verbatim) 4x, but the
problem is that
the available size shown on my MacBook is 4.38GB only. That's a lot of
size differences.

A week ago I upgraded my 2.16 GHz  Intel Core 2 Duo 20" iMac with 2 GB
of RAM from 10.4.11 to 10.5.2, and the automatic Sleep was working
just fine (according to my Energy Saver settings).  Then I applied the
Apple Security Update 2008-002, and now it won't automatically sleep!
Omni Software Update Statistics24 Mar 2008 05:31 GMT3
A little while back I asked if anyone knew whether Apple made agregate
stats from their Software Update servers public. Nobody came back with
