I am not sure of exactly what happened. I did a Google search and found
some hits I was interested in. It wAS A Wayne Resnick blog. All of a
sudden an XP Antioirus page shows up. I do not know if the Resnick blog
was contaminated.

If I want to get into another OS X on another hard drive in my
computer, and pull out things like my Mail inbox, for use on the
current OS X, without exporting or restarting, what do I do? What if
those files are locked by an access code?

What I am looking for is software that could create an image from text
and apply features such as typesizes, typefaces, shadowing, colors,
backgrounds, rotations e.g.
  text2image -typesize 16 -typeface Times -shadow 5 -background

I'm getting blank pages EXCEPT for the long horizontal lines I've
created by typing a series of hyphens to create section breaks. Same
problem with PDFs made from this file and ALL new files I've created.
Not having trouble printing web pages and the like -- just Word files
