| Freezing Desktop in OS X 10.5.2 | 06 Mar 2008 23:06 GMT | 20 |
A good friend of mine is running Leopard on her pre-Intel laptop. Things will be going fine and then all of a sudden the desktop "freezes". When this happens only the cursor is active, all of the desktop icons can neither be moved or activated. A reboot restores the desktop to ...

| Mac Pro memory risers proprietary? | 06 Mar 2008 17:45 GMT | 11 |
Does anybody know if the 2 memory risers in the Mac Pro are generic or are they an Apple proprietary item? And can you run the computer with just one memory riser? 4 x 2gb sticks would still give 8gb or would you lose some dual channel operation advantage?

Since upgrading to the latest version of Leopard on my Intel iMac those eject buttons in the Finder have disappeared. I was wondering if this is just a problem with my computer or a bug in OS 10.5.2? Lee

| Laser printer in a home enviroment | 06 Mar 2008 05:15 GMT | 70 |
My laser printer died recently, and I am debating getting a usb $150 replacement laser, or just using my HP all-in-one inkjet for all my printing. I am weighing the cost of ink versus the life cycle of the toner and the longevity of the current generation low end lasers.
